Certified Short Sale Negotiator Designation

Last week I went to class & passed my test so now I am a Certified Short Sale Negotiator. What does that mean? Well short sales are complex because the negotiation is not only between a buyer and seller but also with the bank (as the seller tries to sell the house short of what is owed to the bank.) It was very interesting to hear from the instructor (an agent from Arizona who has done 500+ short sale closings) systems to get the banks to agree to the short sale. I look forward to using these skills as I assist my clients through their own short sale transactions.
