Local Home Prices on the Rise

You probably have heard about the up tick in Real Estate activity in King County. Here are some interesting statistics. The median price of single-family houses sold in King County in May was $362,000, up 0.6 percent from April and up 4.9 percent from may 2011, according to statistics from the Northwest Multiple Listing Service.

This is the biggest increase since prices peaked in 2007.

In Seattle the May median sales price climbed 10 percent from the same month in 2011.
